How we met:
Anna and Alex were in the thick of the pandemic in 2020 when they first met. Alex was busy making sourdough bread (which he proudly will share he started doing in FEBRUARY 2020) while Anna was rereading her favorite book series and watching Hallmark movies with her mom. They connected online in May over a shared love of improv comedy; they quickly realized that, in a pandemic-less world, they would have auditioned for improv teams at the same place during the same week in March! What started as a masked first date walking through Georgetown and many outdoor dates to parks in Northern Virginia led to nights cooking meals together and solving weekly crosswords. Over the next year, they celebrated each other’s achievements, including a law school graduation for Anna and the completion of Alex’s internal medicine residency. Through a move to Connecticut, enough Amtrak train rides to obtain ‘Select Plus’ status, and the addition of their cat Rosie, Alex and Anna’s love has continued to grow and they can’t wait to celebrate their wedding this year.
