Recommendations
Our hotel block is in a shopping center called Reston Town Center (which you likely know well if you grew up around Northern Virginia with Anna). Reston Town Center has lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There are tons of options for breakfast and lunch, including:
Tatte if you're looking for a quick meal
Bartaco, if you want tacos at the site of an early date for Anna and Alex
Ted's Bulletin for a classic DC-area spot for American food
True Food Kitchen for a healthy spot with lots of vegetarian options

If you're coming from out of town and looking for something to do before the wedding, there are plenty of options in Reston Town Center (including a movie theater), or a short drive away.
The Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (~15 minutes from the hotel) - A very cool arm of the National Air and Space Museum, the Udvar-Hazy Center houses both the Enola Gay and the space shuttle Discovery.
Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts (~10 minutes from the hotel) - Another site of some early dates for Anna and Alex, the area around Wolf Trap's main amphitheater has some woodsy trails and picnic spaces.
DC is about 30 minutes away if you'd like to take a trip into the city. Just leave plenty of time to get back so you don't get stuck in DC traffic! :)
